Host a Conference

The SGCI Executive Board highly appreciates the invaluable contributions made by conference hosts to our organization. SGCI boasts a wealth of expertise and a proven track record in hosting successful conferences, thanks in large part to the dedication of our hosts. When submitting proposals to host an SGCI Conference, we request a comprehensive overview that outlines the conference’s mission and provides insight into the institution’s physical capabilities to support the event. Proposals can be submitted at any time to the SGCI Executive Director, who will then present them to the SGCI Executive Board for review and discussion. Additionally, proposals may be presented directly at SGCI Executive Board meetings, which are convened annually during the SGCI Conference. To ensure adequate planning and coordination, we encourage proposals to be submitted 2-3 years prior to the projected conference date.
